The staircase is equipped with handrails, ensuring safety for elderly residents and children. The second floor has four 6-tatami mat Western-style rooms, which can be connected by removing partition walls for more spacious use. One of the rooms has a mini balcony, and there is a large veranda, making it easy to dry laundry for a big family. We used to set up chairs on the veranda to enjoy reading, tea, and sunbathing.
